Since I was ten years old it's been a dream of mine to make knives.
That's when I ground my first knife from an old file at my Grandpa's
shop. That knife got lost before I finished it but it set in a lifelong love of knives.
Now here I am nearly 30 years later finally releasing my first knife and I'm really excited.
I decided to go all out on my first knife! Full hard milled AEB-L blade hardened to 60HRC which I then put a hand rubbed finish on the flats.
The blade runs on Skiff bearings which are buttery smooth.
Everything rides in a titanium frame and comes with G10 Dragonskin
inlays in your choice of the listed colors OR let me send you something awesome.
That might be anodized or a different finish or a different inlay color or material or something else depending on how the creative juices are flowing.

The thing that allows one of our products into the elite Eryx lineup is the Dragonskin texture that we created. It's an amazing sensory experience when it's handled and gives great grip. The Steelhead has two different Dragonskin's on it. The inlay has full size Dragonskin and gives great grip when you're handling the knife. The titanium captured pivot has micro Dragonskin and has a totally different feel to it.
A lot of thought was put into the fully milled titanium pocket clip on the Steelhead. It's a feature that's often overlooked on knife designs. As the most used part of a knife it deserves a lot of attention. The design was re-done several times to get the tension perfect so it just slips into your pocket but takes the perfect amount of effort to get out. even the lockbar cutout was changed to make the clip easier to use. It features hidden fasteners and has milling that matches the rest of the knife.
Action & Blade
The blade is 3-3/8" (86mm) long made from AEB-L stainless steel hardened to 60HRC. It's roughed out, hardened and then finish milled after hardening to make sure all the sizes and fits are perfect. The blade rides on 11 ball Skiff Rocket Glide bearings which are amazingly smooth and flips open with a satisfying double THWACK. It uses a stainless steel lockbar insert with integrated overtravel stop to guaranty consistent lockup when the knife is open.
