The R stands for reflector, and what a reflector it is! We were able to get a limited number of the popular and exquisite Mcr18 reflectors. Once these reflectors run out the F4R will be finished because its highly unlikely I'll be able to get any more.
And what better to pair it with than an amazing 4500k Nichia 519a emitter and H17fx driver. I normally don't offer F series lights with the H17fx but figured I'd go all out to celebrate this reflector/emitter combo.
While I have them available this light will come with a Zircuti pocket clip as well.

What emitter (LED) should you get?
This is our first light to offer the newest, state of the art Nichia 519a 4500k Emitter. This emitter is very popular and was the driving force behind designing the F4. It has a slightly rosy color and is a 90+ CRI emitter.
CRI is a measure of how well an LED shows color. Sunlight is 100CRI. So the Nichia 519a at 90+ is more than 90% as good as the sun at showing accurate colors.
4500k is the color of the light. Remember the yellowish color of old incandescent light bulbs? That color was approximately 3500k. Lower numbers indicate more yellowish light and higher numbers tell you it's bluer. 4500k strikes a nice balance between blue and yellow light and looks very nice. Side note for more context, 6000k has a noticeably blue note to it.
